When you know you know
Clenching around your iris
Crushed vision
Futurum obscurus
With time unwound you found confidence
Fuck all that you were
With time as a whirlwind
Fuck all that you tried to be
Would you spill all that you know
Or perhaps give me just a little
Would you spill all that you know
Or perhaps give me just a little
When you know you know
Consistency is everything
When you know you know
Consistency is everything
Crushed vision
You're spent
Crushed vision
You're fucking spent
With time unwound you found confidence
Fuck all that you were
Fuck all you tried to be
Futurum obscurus
Let yourself go to seed
Break and enter
Glass damaging
I've waited coiled for so many years
If these walls could talk, oh the stories they'd tell
The inevitable springing flurry
Futurum obscurus
It's time to leave, it's time to leave
Return yourself to the field, return yourself to the field
Let yourself go to seed and never grow
Let yourself go to seed and never grow

I think the concluding song encapsulates what I most enjoy about this album: a defiant hopefulness that stands against the dark, determined to rise again when its knocked down, determined that it will know hope. archival_blob

Even for this genre the sheer intensity of this album always manages to floor me. Might not be the most unique album under the sun but it doesn't have to be; the performances are tight and ferocious, the songwriting is dynamic and explosive, the production is crushing, it's just all things to a mathcore fan. napalmsatan
